Purchasing online school assessments

Purchasing and renewing access to your online assessments can be done within your school's online account. This article provides information on the following topics related to purchasing:

Placing an order

Staff members with the 'Client Administrator' role can purchase tests by credit card or invoice at any time from the Store within your school's account.

30-day free trials

You may have the option to try an assessment at no cost if your school has not previously used it.

Select the '30-day free trial' option from within the Store or contact our support team for more information.

Annual licences

Many of ACER's online school assessments are available to purchase as part of a 12-month licence. For most schools, licences are the most flexible and cost-effective option because they allow unlimited use of the assessments and access to online reporting during your licence period.

Pricing is based on the total number of students enrolled at your school and the number of licensed assessments.

You can mix and match different assessments under the same licence (for example, PAT Reading Adaptive, PAT Science, AGAT and Adolescent Coping Scales for Schools).

Use the PAT assessment licence pricing calculator to work out the cost for your school.

Note

Some assessments, such as eWrite and the Assessment of Languages Competence (ALC) are credits-only; they are not licensable assessments.

Renewing your test licence

Account administrators will be notified by email when it is time to renew your school's assessment licence. Simply follow the link from the email or on the Home page of your account to renew your licence for a further 12 months.

Test credits

For small schools, or schools only planning to test small numbers of students, individual test credits may be more economical. Test credits are available to purchase at a flat price per test, per student.
