NSW Department of Education purchasing process

ACER is an approved supplier on the NSW Department of Education Online Learning Tools Panel. Purchasing is available via the NSW EdBuy platform.

Before purchasing a 12-month online assessment or PAT Teaching Resources licence, or individual test credits, you will need to follow the steps below to request a quote. Alternatively, please contact the ACER School Support team for assistance.

1. Log into EdBuy
2. Search for Australian Council for Educational Research in the Suppliers list
3. Build your assessment licence by selecting from the available products:
   • Pricing is calculated on total student enrolments. Make sure that you select the correct product for your school size.
   • Select one of the following 4 products and specify your chosen assessment(s) from the subsequent form:
     • 1 x Adaptive assessment (e.g. PAT Maths Adaptive)
     • 1 x linear assessment (e.g. PAT Maths 5th Edition) 
     • 2 x Adaptive assessments (PAT Maths Adaptive and PAT Reading Adaptive)
     • 2 x linear assessments (e.g. PAT Reading 5th Edition and PAT Science 2nd Edition)
   • Select 'Third and additional assessments' if you wish to add more assessments to your licence. Only select this option if you chose one of the '2 x' products listed above.
4. Submit your 'request for quote'.

The School Support team will review your request for quote. If it is approved, you will be notified and able to place an online order via EdBuy based on the quote. Alternatively, the Support team will be in touch to clarify any outstanding details.

Please note that there may be a delay of 2–3 business days between placing your order and having the assessments available in your school's account.
