Getting started with your account

This article will help you start administering and reporting on tests, whether you are a new or returning user.

If you are not sure whether your school has an account, or if you are having trouble finding the address, try searching here. Otherwise, get in touch with the ACER school support team for assistance.

To begin using your online account, follow these simple steps:

  1. Purchase your assessments
  2. Add staff members
  3. Add students
  4. Assign tests to students
  5. Download student logins and teacher administration instructions
  6. Administer tests
  7. Generate reports.

1. Purchase your assessments

First things first, make sure you have access to the assessments you need. Here's an article that might help:

2. Add staff members

To make the most of the assessments and resources your school uses, each staff member should be provided access to your account. These articles provide more information on the topic:

3. Add students

Each student must be added to your account and allocated a unique username and password. Read more about adding and updating students in your account:

4. Assign tests to students

Once you have uploaded students to your account you can assign their tests. Follow the step-by-step instructions or watch the video demonstration.

5. Download student logins and teacher administration instructions

Refer to the student login guidelines which outline how to download student logins (usernames and passwords) and locate your school's unique web address for students to log in from. Ask your school's internet technician to confirm your school's set up meets the technical requirements for online testing.

There are teacher administration instructions available to download for each test. These instructions contain important information for teachers to refer to on testing days.

6. Administer tests

Each student requires a computer, laptop or device to sit their assigned test. Ensure teachers have a copy of the relevant test administration instructions and have decided how to distribute student logins to their class. Teachers should follow the test administration instructions carefully.

7. Generate reports

Once students complete tests, reports are available to generate from your account. More information about reports can be found here:
