Merging duplicate student account records

This article provides information on how to merge student accounts where duplicate student records may have been created.

Background

While the online system includes checks that aim to prevent the creation of duplicate student records, occasionally the same student may appear in your account more than once, usually with differences in some of the key information fields (for example, different dates of birth or student IDs).

Where duplicate student records exist, their testing data may be split across records and not easily visible.

Removing duplicates

The School Support team can assist if there are duplicate student records on your school’s account. The duplicate student accounts will be merged, ensuring that any testing data from either account is retained.

To merge students account records, use the below link to securely provide the affected student's full name, year level and their correct student ID.

It is not secure to send personal and private student data via email.
