The Year 1 Numeracy Check Pilot will run between Wednesday 26 August to Friday 11 September and is open to Year 1 students of selected Victorian government schools only. Participating teachers are asked to complete professional learning prior to administering the check. After administration, teachers will be asked to fill out feedback surveys to inform the final version of the Year 1 Numeracy Check.

Key information
- Ensure all participating Year 1 students’ details are correct and new students are added to your school's OARS account prior to administering the assessment.
- ACER will assign the test forms to your participating students.
- Participating teachers should carefully read the Test Administration Instructions in advance and complete the Practice Section Demonstration prior to administering the check with students.
- Professional learning is being provided to participating teachers between Monday 18 August and Monday 24 August.
- The assessment administration period will run from Wednesday 26 August to Friday 11 September.
Professional learning
ACER is pleased to provide professional learning to support understanding and administration of the Year 1 Numeracy Check. Modules 1, 2, 3 & 4 will be delivered via webinars.

Results
Results are immediately available via the ACER Data Explorer within your school’s OARS account after students complete the check. You will need to log in with your own (teacher) username and password to view the results.
