The Year 1 Numeracy Check Pilot

The Year 1 Numeracy Check Pilot ran between Wednesday 26 August to Friday 11 September and was open to Year 1 students of selected Victorian government schools only. Teachers who participated are asked to fill out feedback surveys to inform the final version of the Year 1 Numeracy Check.

Key information

  • Professional learning was provided to participating teachers between Monday 18 August and Monday 24 August.
  • The assessment administration period ran from Wednesday 26 August to Friday 11 September.
  • Please complete the teacher feedback surveys


Results

Results are immediately available via the ACER Data Explorer within your school’s OARS account after students complete the check. You will need to log in with your own (teacher) username and password to view the results.

Resources for participating schools

The following resources are available to support schools participating in the Year 1 Numeracy Check Pilot. These materials include test administration guidance and printable resources for the interview component of the assessment.

Teachers need to access and prepare the relevant resources prior to administering the Year 1 Numeracy Check.
