Understanding the Summary report
PAT Early Numeracy Screener Pilot August–September 2026
This pilot study is a critical part of the development process of a PAT Early Numeracy Screener.
Student results reported for this study are provisional. Amongst other aspects, the terminology of 'risk', the labels and definitions of the risk profiles, and the calculations that determine how students are placed in those profiles are still under development and are subject to change between this pilot and the release of a final product.
Risk profiles chart
The Summary report groups your students by their PAT Early Numeracy Screener risk profiles. Students with 'significantly at-risk' and 'at-risk' profiles appear at the top, while students with a 'not at-risk' profile appear below. The colours help you to quickly identify students requiring closer attention. Red indicates 'significantly at-risk', yellow indicates 'at-risk', and green indicates 'not at-risk'.

Choosing which results to display
Cohort selection
By default, the report will include the most recent result for all students you have permission to view and who have completed the screener. You can focus on the results of smaller groups of students by using the year level and tag filters.
Reporting window
Change the reporting window to find the results you need. Quick selections allow you to focus on one school year or semester at a time. You can also select a custom date range to focus on a particular testing period.
Exporting your data
Use the Export button at the top of the page to download your students' results data in a number of different formats.
You can extract the raw data into Excel (.xlsx) format or download PDF versions of the report chart and individual Student reports in bulk.
