Audio-led sessions allow students to proceed at their own pace, supported by in-test audio instructions. It is recommended that audio-led test sessions are used with students in years 3 and above.

Entering the test session
- From your Created Sessions list, select the name of your test session. The Audio Led tab and Test Session tab will open.
- Distribute the test tickets to your students (these were generated when creating test assignments) along with the session code. The session code is found in the right-most column of your test session.
- Instruct students to log in via one of the methods below. Students may log in with either their full details (at the left of your screen) or their ID and session code only (at the right).

- Students must confirm who they are before the ‘draw screen’ appears. Students may draw until all students are ready to test.
Starting the test session
- Once students are logged in successfully, they will appear in the Waiting for Approval queue on your Test Session tab.
- When ready, you can manually approve individual students or click Approve All to allow students to begin testing.
- Once students are Approved, audio instructions will begin. Students can proceed through the test at their own pace, and at each stage the audio instructions will play.
- Students can adjust volume, pause, or replay instructions.
- You can manually pause, cancel, and exit individual students from the test. You can also ‘Pause All’, ‘Exit All’, and ‘Cancel All’. A further explanation of this is below.
Managing and ending the test session
- On the Test Session tab, if status is Completed for all students, the only options available will be to Continue Testing All (for subsequent subtests) or End Testing All.
- If the students do not finish all the subtests or batteries, you can end testing. You will need to create a new test session for the next test in the series. For example, if you administer one or more subtests during the morning and plan to continue in the afternoon, create a new test session for the afternoon testing period.
- If you click Continue Testing All, the screen will reset. Approve students to allow them to continue testing.
Note
Only click Continue Testing All once and wait for the page to respond. If you click twice, the next subtest may be skipped and marked as Completed. Students will not be able to return to the subtest.
Test control options

Pause all
Holds the test for 10 mins, and students stay in the session. Can be used for short interruptions (e.g., some students are experiencing technical issues). You should not close testing session and proctor tab. When the test resumes, students will start from the question they were on when the test was paused. -
Exit all
This saves all answers, logs students out, and closes the session quickly. This could be useful in emergencies/drills. -
Cancel all
Deletes all current testing information. This could be useful if students have been assigned to the incorrect test/year. -
Extend time all
Only for Grades 3+ tests. Allows student additional testing time (between 1–99 minutes). -
Status
Grades 3+ students will show question progression plus a timer. -
Student lookup
This can be accessed at any time before, during or after testing. This provides a graphical representation of the batteries by status (Not started, In Progress, Completed). Only Completed test sessions can be scored.
